About Running Creek Castle

The History

The castle was built by the previous owner, Garry Morgan in six stages over a 30 year period. Garry was awarded MBA Builder of the Year for the North East Region in 2007 for the complexity and craftsmanship clearly on display at Running Creek Castle.

Impeccable detail combined with materials of historical significance including, 1.5 tonne of exposed beams from the Hume Weir Bridge, the original copper spire from St Matthew's Church in Albury, old French terracotta roof tiles and numerous original stain glass windows. These are only some of the original features of the castle, which contribute to this intriguing architectural artifice.
